Suzanne Coonan

Suzanne Coonan, M.S. is an executive coach, leadership development consultant, and human resources leader with more than 20 years experience partnering across all organizational levels to lead strategic workplace initiatives and provide solutions that achieve results. Formerly a VP of HR at an MBA school, she now works with high performing, high achieving leaders and teams to gain clarity and alignment on their top objectives, optimize their performance, navigate complex and challenging environments, and achieve their strategic goals. Suzanne was drawn to coaching after recognizing that helping the most influential leaders at the top maximize their effectiveness has a ripple effect and positive impact on everyone around them. She enjoys inspiring, influencing and empowering individuals to achieve significant results and make a difference in their own lives and those around them.

Suzanne is passionate about developing leaders using a positive, strengths-based approach to tap into an individual’s unique talents and skills to bring the best of who they are to what they do while connecting it to a meaningful purpose or objective. She has extensive experience in leadership positions at education/not-for-profit organizations as well as large corporations in the professional services and publishing industries.  As an Executive Coach, Suzanne has worked with high performing leaders in Finance, HR, Marketing and IT to achieve significant goals and has coached leaders at Allstate, Argonne, Baxter, BP, Cushman & Wakefield, Discover, GE, Hyatt, Kraft, MasterCard, Pfizer, PwC, Walgreens and the YMCA, among others.

Suzanne is also an experienced workshop facilitator, speaker, and panelist. She has presented keynotes and workshops to hundreds of global business professionals at numerous Fortune 500 corporations on career and leadership development topics and is adjunct faculty at an MBA school where she received an Excellence in Teaching Award.

She has a master’s degree in Positive Organization Development & Change from Case Western Reserve University, a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University and is a graduate of the advanced coaching program at Coach University.
